CANCELLATION POLICY

HAIR BAR Cancellation, Late Arrival & Appointment Policy We understand that life happens and plans may occasionally change. Our appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client, so we ask that you carefully review and understand the following policies before booking. CANCELLATIONS Clients must provide at least 48 business hours’ notice when canceling an appointment. * Cancellations made with less than 48 business hours’ notice are considered a late cancellation. * Same-day cancellations will result in a 40% cancellation fee of the remaining service balance, in addition to forfeiture of the deposit. * All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. * Deposits secure the date and time of your appointment and are not a payment that can be transferred to a future appointment when the original appointment is canceled outside of the applicable policy. RESCHEDULING Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 business hours’ notice, subject to availability. * Rescheduling does not guarantee that your original appointment time or requested date will be available. * If an appointment is rescheduled with less than 48 business hours’ notice, the original deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will be required to secure the new appointment. * A client may not use a forfeited deposit as credit toward a future appointment. * Repeated rescheduling may require full payment or additional booking requirements at Hair Bar’s discretion. LATE ARRIVALS Hair Bar provides a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. * The grace period begins at the scheduled appointment time, not the client’s estimated arrival time. * Clients arriving within the 15-minute grace period should understand that their service may need to be adjusted based on the remaining appointment time. * Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in the appointment being canceled. * If an appointment is canceled because the client arrives more than 15 minutes late, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to schedule another appointment. * If the remaining appointment time is insufficient to properly perform the service, Hair Bar reserves the right to decline or shorten the service rather than compromise the quality of the work or negatively impact the appointments scheduled after yours. * Traffic, transportation delays, weather, work obligations, or other unforeseen circumstances do not automatically waive the late-arrival policy. We encourage clients to plan accordingly and allow additional travel time. NO-CALL, NO-SHOW A no-call, no-show is defined as failing to arrive for a scheduled appointment without contacting Hair Bar. * No-call, no-show appointments are subject to a charge of 100% of the scheduled service fee. * The deposit is also forfeited. * Future appointments may require payment of the outstanding balance and/or full payment in advance before another appointment can be booked. APPOINTMENT TIME Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Arriving late does not extend the scheduled appointment time. Hair Bar operates on an appointment-based schedule, and delays can affect the clients booked after you. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that additional time will be available to accommodate a late arrival. SERVICE CHANGES If you arrive and request a different service than the one originally booked, Hair Bar may need to decline the requested change if there is not sufficient time available. Additional services, changes in service, or additional time may result in additional charges. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS By submitting a deposit and booking an appointment, the client acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to Hair Bar’s policies. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. A deposit does not guarantee that an appointment can be extended or accommodated outside of the scheduled appointment time. Any applicable cancellation, late-arrival, or no-show fees are separate from the deposit unless otherwise stated. POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT By booking an appointment with Hair Bar, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies. These policies are in place to protect the time of both our clients and our stylists and to allow Hair Bar to provide each client with the quality service they have scheduled.
